~ Sucky Ads

Recent inactivity largely due to schooling and work, my apologies.

To start you off... Here are some bunnies.

The following has a very strong potential to become a series on this site - Sucky Ads (or whatever other name comes to me later). Some advertisements, TV, internet, and printed, are just absolutely rediculous. The following two were spotted on deviant art, and have been "fixed" :)

Um... let me think for a minute here... this is kinda tough.

I mean, I can understand that people who DIDN'T vote for Obama probably still have dislike for him, but honestly how many people are going to have changed their opinion of him so soon after voting for him? It's insulting, really.

Next up!

All of a sudden other shows are following suit in the bizzare concept that Vampires are actually just hot teenagers... and not dark, secluded blood sucking eternal monsters.

There we go! We love you Christopher Lee. Although the text message <3 still kinda ticks me off...
Spot any other annoying ads? Send them my way on the newly renovated Forum, the Tribuna! You have to register to post, so send me an email before registering to let me know you're not a spam bot.

In other news, I'll be taking Production II this summer, so you'll be seeing some more short films!! Also TOFA is quickly approaching... keep an eye out!

~ "Wool"entine's Day

CALLING ALL ANIMATORS!!
We've got a Valentine's contest going on over at the Albinoblacksheep forums, hosted by your friends here at Munchy Media. The prize is currently $200 for first place, with second and third place prizes of $30 and $20, respectively.
Click Here to go to the "Wool"entine's Day Contest website!

Also a slight update on Arrow: We'll be holding an all-crew meeting next week to look at the future of the film in more depth. At the moment it looks as though we may move the production to next year, due to the rapid rate that it's growing! We've got a great crew and a lot more going for us, and so may need additional time to work out details and make sure the film becomes as awesome as we envision it to be.

~ Arrow

Hey folks, I realize there's been a drought of activity. All effort is currently being focused into our big film - "Arrow". The script is undergoing a total rewrite, and we've got almost a full crew ready for action. Casting will be in March and filming will take place during June, July, and August. It's gonna be a busy summer, because TOFA '09 is fast approaching as well!

For now, enjoy some concept art for the film. I'll release a few at a time over the next few weeks =)

Project 1 for my Production class is now complete and online!! Follow the 2 Dairy Queen employees Bob and Beth as they try to get themselves fired for not having good enough pay.

I'll be moving onto my final project for Production 1 now. That is, once I figure out what it'll be about. Expect it sometime in May!

Also, Rusty Knight has been keeping his Soda Bread comic alive -- I'll be sure to post those when I can.

Here's a fun short I made with some classmates at my place about a pie that's holy. Enjoy!

Tonight I'll be filming my next project -- but I won't tell what it is until it's finished!!

Secret Agents
I've had almost no time since school started. Want to know what's been keeping my time? Well, this video is part of it. I'm now enrolled in my first film classes at Colorado Film School, and so you'll see some neat things in the near future as well! Anyway, here's a video we made as a class-long excercize from start to finish.

Busted!!
Do cats really land on their feet?
Well, that's exactly what we set out to find out in this silly spoof of the Discovery Channel's show Mythbusters! The short immitates the funny terms and crazy extremes Adam and Jamie go through to find solutions to their myths. It was entered into a contest by the Discovery Channel for spoofs, but unfortunately did not make it in. It seems to have the second most views on YouTube for "Mythbusters Spoof", though!!

Demo
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! From this point on things may become slower, as I am starting up another full load of college tomorrow. Just so you know, Logo Go 8 has begun! It seems that participation will not be so high this time around, but we'll have to see what happens.

Slice Dr. has a great surprise for us. His 2008 Demo Reel of 3D Animation easily blows the pants off his 2007 Reel.

Free Pot? Free Pot! FREE POT!!
After one full year of work with members of the ABS Forums, Andrew Kepple (or TooMuchSpareTime Animation) has completed this large "Collaberanimation". I myself submitted two of the backgrounds and did a segment of music as well.

Sonic & Amy
We've added a new site to MunchyMedia! Twinkle Park is a fansite dedicated to the relationship between Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose, and it will be within the Fan Works section. There is a forum connected to Twinkle Park called Twinkle Circut, as well.

Transform
This next flash should be a nice little treat for you all. I made it as a submission to the ABS Flash Devo contest #15, the topic being transforming one object into another using frame by frame animation.

Also, the Artwork section is now divided into portfolios, and captions to each piece have been added.

Fun Day
I bring you here today, to tell you all today, the site has been beefed up a bit! I studied a few websites, but most inspiration is thanks to Albinoblacksheep.com. First official update here, and what better way to celebrate than with the newest flash animation?

I'm not stealing ABS's layout, I swear!
About the future of this website, it has four sections for different media. The Film section is empty for now, but I will soon post the movies "Maltic Skateboarding: The Dos and Don'ts" as well as the short film "So You Want to be a Super Hero". Check out the Animation section, where funny and cool flash animations can be found (Like the original song LOLWTFOMGBBQM8). Artwork will feature three portfolios: SliceDoctor, SymphyBunny and KitKat. Also you can head over to the Fan Videos in the future to find a collection of mostly anime-based music videos, called Anime Music Videos.
